A large, water-resistant duffle with saddle-grade Bridle Leather accents.
Rather than waxed canvas, Rugged Twill was chosen for its exceptional abrasion resistance. This industrial-strength fabric comes from Britain’s oldest, most storied mills, and is lightly waxed to keep valuables dry and protected from the elements. The Bridle Leather for the handles is strong and durable enough for horse tack, and wraps completely around the bag to cradle the heaviest loads. It’s been slowly vegetable-tanned over several weeks in natural plant-based solutions that transform top-grade cowhides into sturdy, supple, and lustrous leather that molds to the shape of your hand and shoulder over decades of use. The rustproof heavy-gauge zipper is built from solid brass and is reinforced with more of our saddle-grade leather. Sand-cast brass hardware is debossed custom for Filson.
Construction details were carefully considered in this duffle bag, even those that are not obvious, such as the Tin Cloth binding on interior seams that prevents fraying and wear. Each interior endcap features a stow pocket for organizing smaller essentials and the Bridle Leather shoulder strap is detachable for hand carry.

Returns
If you need to return an item that you have purchased online, you can return the item at any of our locations in-person.
- If you would like to return the item online, simply visit the order page through your account or by clicking view order on the confirmation email
- Items for return must be unworn and still have the tags attached
- Once we receive your returned item our team will look over the item and make sure it clears inspection and a refund will be processed within a week of receiving it. Refunds take 5-10 business days to appear back onto your original form of payment.
- Return labels will be provided for a flat rate of $15 off of your return
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item that you have purchased online, you can exchange the item at any of our locations in-person.
- So if you would like to exchange an item please reach out to our customer service email to request the item you would like.
- The customer service team will create an exchange for you to begin the return of the original item
- Once the team receives the return the exchange item will be shipped.
- Return labels will be provided for a flat rate of $15

Can I make changes to my order after it’s been placed?
We do everything we can to fulfill orders quickly and unfortunately cannot make updates after an order has been placed. These changes include removing or adding products and/or changing the delivery address. If a mistake has been made with your order information, it’s quickest to create a new order with the correct information and then let our Customer Service.
